The Ideal Feature for those not wanting fish
Not every home or business has the room for a pond, but many still want the sound and movement of flowing water. A Pondless Waterfall or series of meandering streams offers the same visual appeal and can be built to any size to fit front or back gardens.
Safety is another major advantage. With no exposed body of water, the risk for young children is greatly reduced. We build each waterfall where access allows it with larger, secure rocks to limit movement, creating a feature that is safe for children to explore.
How it works
Water runs into an underground reservoir.
Pondless waterfalls are exactly that. Instead of a pond at the bottom of the system, the water runs into an underground reservoir built out of Aquablocks (similar to soakaway crates). The aquablocks house a pump vault, which houses the pump and water is pulled up through PVC pipework to a spillway, which is concealed within the rockwork at the top of the feature. The water then cascades down the waterfall back into the reservoir, and the cycle continues.
